Outside of class time, our team has had the privilege of attending some fantastic events this month. There is always more to learn from our broader community. The bonus is we've befriended some incredible like-minded people along the way!

Our Special Education Teacher, Amanda Therrien, attended the 2017 Diversity and Inclusion Symposium. The event was hosted by the Commission for People with Disabilities. She was fortunate to meet the keynote speaker, John Register, Associate Director of Paralympic Sports, from the U.S. Olympic Committee!

Our Executive Director, Becky Mershon, attended Dirt Coffee's "Take Root 2017" and joined the celebration of all that this incredible partner organization is doing for the community.
